Consider the following spectrums from a developmental perspective: question to answer to question; or, yes to no to yes; or, simplicity to complexity to simplicity. What do you notice? Level 1 and 3 are the same, right? But are they really? If you consider these in the context of your own growth and unfolding, you can feel how different these two levels truly are. The question born of wisdom is radically unlike the question born of inexperience. The yes that considers multiple moral perspectives is unmatched by the egocentric yes of what’s best for me and only me. And the simplicity beyond complexity – that is, the second simplicity – is only realized when the complexity that came before is transcended and included.
This course explores that second simplicity – and how you grow to embody it in your heart, mind, and spirit without negating the complexity (of life, love, work and everything) that’s absolutely essential for the emergence of anything beyond. Even more exciting than a curriculum that explores kindness, sacred speech, the democratization of enlightenment, laughter, the power of tears, perspective-taking and much more is the teaching partnership between iEvolve and Core Integral. Marc Gafni will weave each topic into the story of an evolutionary mysticism, where we encounter the human obligation to take responsibility for the evolution of God. Clint Fuhs will offer the discernment of an integral perspective, and how it clarifies, for example, the role of both state and structure-stages in the realization of second simplicity.
