The ultimate revelation of tears of transformation is the revelation of nonduality. For the kabbalist, it is within the power of tears to create divinity. The Hebrew mystic knows the sacred art of creating the divine word from the prima material of human speech and intention. For the kabbalists, tears have within them the mystical mechanism which fosters the realization of an expanded and evolved divine. Tears express the sacred impulse and contain the methodology for the evolution of God.

Dr. Marc Gafni is a public intellectual and spiritual artist. He holds his doctorate in philosophy from Oxford University, rabbinic certification from the chief rabbinate in Israel, as well private rabbinic ordination.
